Darren's knowledge about the locality was interesting in itself. Expert tuition explained in-depth or put simply for when you just want quick reminders.

My images were taken much more selectively and seemed more meaningful because of it.

Auto-off shows startling differences on comparison to a choice setting for the same scene. If it's time that you got off your Auto...... Darren is your man!

I went on both of the local photography walks , Darren, offered as part of 'The Tales Told' week organised in Guiseley by Codswallop.

On both walks the participants who took part all had widely varying levels of experience , not only in taking photos but also in knowledge of their own cameras, nevertheless, Darren was able to switch easily between giving the whole group general and specific information and then helping individuals with personalised issues and information. He was also able to present information to the group in different formats, I found the pictorial very useful.

Darren gave me an understanding about how my camera actually works and what it is capable of when you have the courage not to use automatic settings and all without making me feel that I had got to the age of 65 and was a complete dummy about photography.

If anyone out there is thinking about asking for help with their photography skills , just contact Darren, he is a knowledgeable and patient teacher who is passionate about photography , you will not be disappointed. Thank you, Darren.

Went on a photography walk with Darren down Esholt woods.

Darren explained things in an easy to understand way. I learnt some new things to help bring my photography along. I would highly recommend going on one of Darrens courses

Had a amazing time sunday and with the help of Darren's calm and patient approach learnt a great deal in the day. i would highly recommend darren to anyone and will definitely be going one more courses in the future! thank you for bringing photography back to life for me!
